Metrics & Reports

PullPro tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for your team's PR review process. These reports offer valuable insights into how efficiently PRs are being managed, claimed, and reviewed, with metrics sent on a regular basis and the ability to check progress on demand.

Recurring Metrics Report

PullPro automatically generates recurring metrics reports at the end of each week or on a customizable cycle. These reports provide a comprehensive summary of PR activity, including how quickly reviews are claimed and completed, how many PRs were handled, and individual reviewer performance.

Report Overview

  • Time to first review: The time it took for a team member to claim a review after a PR was posted.
  • Pull requests created: The total number of PRs authored by all participating users.
  • Reviews Claimed: The total number of reviews claimed by all participating users.
  • Resolved Reminders: The number of reminders resolved by all participating users.

Metrics only include pull requests that were shared to Slack with PullPro during the report period.

In the Slack home tab for PullPro you can configure the metrics report by opening the settings modal.

  • Configure how often and when these reports are sent.
  • Change your goals and thresholds for key metrics.

Stats Slash Command

For an on-demand update of your metrics, use the /pr stats slash command in the desired Slack channel. This command gives you a brief summary showing the current metrics period's PR activity, making it easy to check in on your progress without waiting for the full report cycle.
